Valkyrie had her wings open and extended, and all feathers poofed up trying to seem larger and more threatening. Her red markings glowed brightly as she tried her hardest to keep the beast’s attention, but when Io’s weapons first hit the beast its attention completely left Valkyrie. Its head whipped to the left and its body curled as it searched for the other Arcanai. Io noticed how quickly Voidcall head was approaching him, so before he was within chomping distance he launched off the beast’s back using his wings to make a safe landing near Valkyrie.
